Mark Morton to Serve as VAHCI Awards JudgeWritten on February 23, 2011
We’re very proud to report that our president, Mark Morton, has been asked to serve as a judge for the first annual Virginia Healthcare Innovators Awards. Mark will have the privilege of being part of the panel that will review and evaluate the nominees for the Employee Health Award.
This award will be given to the organization that has shown the most innovative and beneficial advances in health care services provided through employee health programs. The nominees for this year are Bon Secours, McKee Foods, Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Wakefield School, and YMCA of Greater Richmond.
Mark is in a great position to serve as a judge for this particular award. With his years of leadership, recruiting, and consulting experience, he is no stranger to the in’s and out’s of employee programs and how a business manages services for its employees. He is also a member of the Virginia Council of CEOs, who are sponsoring the event.
The winners of each category will be announced at the awards event on Tuesday, March 29 at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens at the Massey Conference Center Auditorium. The event will feature a keynote address by Dr. William A. Hazel, Secretary of Heath & Human Resources for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
If you’re interested in registration to attend the event, you can find all the information at the VAHCI Awards website.
